About Bagerhat

Bagerhat, The Town of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali. Fomous for his historical Mosque ‘Shit Gumbad’ and Darga(Mausoleum) of ‘Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali’. It’s also famous for Lobster and Prawn. Bagerhat produce one third of Lobster and Prawn which exported from Bangladesh. It was established by the Ulug Khan Jahan Ali (1433–1459). Then it was called Khalifatabad, and nicknamed the "mint town of the Bengal Sultanate". Bagerhat Located in the Khukna Dibivsion of southwest of Bangladesh.
