Kuakata have a beautiful sandy Sea Beach with a gentle slope. It’s one of the Sea Beach in the World where one can see both the sunrise and sunset. Kuakata have a beautiful Natural views with ‘Jhaubon’ and a lots of Coconut trees. One can enjoy colorful sails, fishing, towering cliffs, surfing waves, everything here touches every visitor's heart. It’s have a Char (sandy field), where thousands of Red Crab are playing regularly. The Kuakata beach is 30 km long and 6 km wide. Kuakata is about 320 Kilometres south of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, and about 70 Kilometres from the Patuakhali district headquarters at Barisal Division in Bangladesh. The Local name of Kuakata is Sagar Kannya (Daughter of the Sea). Kuakata have a beautiful blue sky, huge expanse of water of the Bay and evergreen forest, that really eye-catching. The name Kuakata originated from the word ‘Kua’-the Bengali word for “Well” which was dug on the sea shore by the early Rakhine settlers in quest of collecting drinking water.

*Kauwer Char:Located about 7 kilometers from Sea beach. It’s have a beautiful scenery of natural views. Kauwer Char where thousands of Red Crab are playing regularly on the Beach. Kuakata. Migratory winter birds, a series of coconut trees are looking in here.

* Rakhain Market:  Located about 9 kilometers from Sea beach famous for a village, with a sizeable Buddhist population and 'Rakhyne' tribal families and handicrafts and home made cigars. It’s also famous for “Mohua” a alcoholic drink.

*Shutki Polli: Located about 9 kilometers from Sea beach famous for a fishermen village. It’s a place for fishermen to making Dry Fish. One can enjoy the fishing here. This land is known for it’s won beautiful views.

How to Travel:

There exists road communication between Dhaka and Patuakhali. ‘Dhaka’ The capital city of Bangladesh.  Accessible by road, water or air transport up to Barisal. By bus it takes about 10-12 hours from Dhaka, Air takes 1.5 hours. Then one way travel by road or water to Kuakata or Patuakhali. Then the Beach and visit area accessible by Motorcycle, Boat & Zip-car.
