Bandarban is regarded as one of the most attractive travel
destinations in Bangladesh.
Famous for his Hill Tracts (Bandarban includes the three highest peak of Bangladesh— Tahjindong (or Bijoy 1280
meters), Mowdok Mual (or Saka Haphong 1052 m) and Keokradong(1230 m)) and
natural beauty with a lots of verities birds (a heaven for the bird watchers), see

The name of Bengali speaking Bandarban (meaning the dam of
monkeys). However The actual name of the district in Marma "RDA kyaoci
MRO". During the period of British rule in 1860, the district was declared
the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
