Bagerhat, The Town of Hazrat Khan Jahan
Ali. Fomous for his historical Mosque ‘Shit Gumbad’ and Darga(Mausoleum) of ‘Hazrat
Khan Jahan Ali’. It’s also famous for Lobster and Prawn.
Bagerhat produce one third of Lobster and Prawn which exported
from Bangladesh. It was established by the Ulug Khan Jahan Ali (1433–1459). Then it was called
Khalifatabad, and nicknamed the "mint town of the Bengal Sultanate". Bagerhat Located in the Khukna Dibivsion of
southwest of Bangladesh. Bagerhat is a historical town, it is called the ‘Mosque City’ of Bangladesh. There are many historical monuments and vies in here.

*Shit Gumbuj Masjid:
The Mosque is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It was built by Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali in 1549.He was
a Muslim Sufi
saint around 1450 A.D. The meaning of Shit Gumbuj Masjid is ‘Mosque of 60 domes’. But it is slightly misnamed as it actually
has 77 domes.
The length of the mosque is equal to 160 feet, its width is 108 feet. The
walls are unusually thick and very durable light brick, and
the piller built whit stone. It’s one
of the country's best mosques. The Mosque is located about three miles west of the
Bagerhat town of Bangladesh.

Ali:
The Majar of Hazrat
Khan Jahan Ali is a prime
pilgrimage site in the
Bagerhat. Located about 4km from the bus station in Bagerhat town. Local name of the Mazar(Mausoleum) is ‘Darga’.It has a big Dhighi(a pond infested
with crocodiles). Hundreds
of visitors stop here daily to pay their respects to one of the country's more
famous holy men.

Khulna. Air takes 30 minits. By Bus and Train it’s takes 7-9 hours. Rail station Tongi
beside Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Bus station is Gabtoli & Sayadabad Dhaka.
