Cox's Bazaar is a port Town at Chittagong Division in Bangladesh.
Cox's Bazaar is also known by the name of 'Panowa' whose means “Yellow Flower”
and it’s old name was “Palongkee”. From the old name Palongkee, Cox's bazaar
was originated by the Captain Hiram Cox an officer of the British East India
Company, and named after him it’s called Cox’s Bazaar.

Bazaar is famous for the world longest Sea
Beach, it is 125 km an unbroken sandy Sea Beach
with a beautiful slope. It is located 150 km South of the industrial port Chittagong. In here you
can swim in the Sea, rest in the Beach and surfing in the waves. Cox Bazaar is
famous for green coconut and the mountain’s ‘Banana’ at cheap. you can try to
test it ,Hope you enjoy this food. From the Beach many other several places to
interest near the Town which can easily be visited from town center.
*Aggameda
Khyng:Located about 16 km from Cox’s Bazaar main Town , it’s famous for
the ‘Chittagong Hill Tracts’ and a large Buddhist Monastery.
*Inani Beach:
Located about 32 km south of Cox’s Bazaar main Town. It is a beautiful Beach
with a background sleep Hills to the east. Local name The Dreamland.
*Ramu: Located
about 10 km from Cox’s Bazaar , famous for a village, with a sizeable Buddhist
population and handicrafts and home made cigars.
*Bangabondhu Sheikh
Mujib Safari
Park: It is the first safari park in Bangladesh Located
about 50 km from Cox’s Bazaar
Town. The nature of the
forest is tropical evergreen and a lot of trees with Boilam, Telsur , Garjon
and Chajpalish. There is dangerous animal to attraction include wild Elephant,
Lions, Bengal Tigers, Crocodiles, Bears etc and a lot of Bird and Monkeys.Which
is wonderful project to attract the tourist.

How To Travel:
Cox’s Bazaar is
connected both by air and road with the capital city Dhaka of Bangladesh, Dhaka and Chittagong Daily non-stop flights are available
on United Airways. The journey by plane takes 60 minutes and fare is BD taka 6000.00 and 3500.00. One
way from Dhaka and Chittagong.
By bus it take about 10-12 hours from Dhaka and 4-5 hours from Chittagong. The private AC
bus are available from Dhaka and Chittagong.
